This show is held in at the beginning of October and is the final show on the Scottish dahlia circuit. All the growers gather up there remaining dahlia blooms to put on what must surely be a spectacular show for the end of the season. Here are a few photographs.
Two of the greatest dahlia growers in Scotland, John Wallace and the late Andrew Allan Snr.

Falkirk Show another Dahlia show which had to fold. Three photos from their last show. First one is of the Dahlia Championship class which calls for 6 x 3 Dahlia, four varieties. The winning entry was from the Allan partnership and comprised six vases of miniature flowered dahlias. The Allan team went on their winning way with Best Vase Dahlias in Show (Karenglen) which was also Best Exhibit in Dahlias and Best Exhibit in Show. No wonder my dad looks dazed surrounded by all those awards.
